E-mail Marketability:
I am using a FB lead campaign to re-engage old leads in my Infusionsoft database. I am using Zapier to update the contacts from FB as they opt-in to our subscription service. The issue I have is that Infusionsoft still has these leads as “unengaged non-marketable” yet, now they have re-engaged via new and recent optin form (via Facebok Lead Ads) How can I remedy this by making these older leads now marketable and prevent it from happening in the future
The problem is that the api cannot be used to re-opt-in contacts that are now unmarketable. They have to be manually opted in within your app. You could tag them and use that tag to opt in enmasse in the app but that’s the closest you’ll be able to get.
Thank you John. How do you opt-in mass. I had about 100 reactivated leads last week but when I try to opt-in as a bulk option, it did nothing. So I had to do them all manually. Also is it possible to change the time that a lead is considered “unmarketable” In the business I am in sometimes the sales cycle can take years so if a lead goes three months without opening an email, that is normal because we sell luxury items and generally people think about the purchase intermittently and maybe six months down the road would open an email if it is back on their radar
