I have a campaign set up and following the initial sequence there are options. I want to know if tags can be uploaded in bulk in the client account to activate the next sequence of events? for example if I have a group signed up for an event, some paid in full, some deposit only, others were a no show, how do I trigger or initiate the next sequence of events?
If you export that group from Infusionsoft, retaining their ContactID, you can then a Data Cleanup (Admin - Data Cleanup) and update the Contact Records.
On the CSV file that is exported, you put in a column for Tags.
Add the tag names you want to add based on the action you want (deposit only, no show, etc.)
MAKE SURE THE TAG NAMES MATCH WHAT YOU HAVE IN INFUSIONSOFT EXACTLY.
Also, make sure that your tag goal that you are trying to trigger is available to ‘all contacts’.
When you do the upload, set up that Tag column to “Create tags from …”. It will see that the tag name is the same and apply that tag, which will trigger the tag goal and move people through the campaign as desired.
