Removing Contacts from drip campaigns with Conclusion Goal

I have a campaign that looks like: <tag applied #1> <sequence with 5 emails> <tag applied #2>
My question: If someone is in the sequence and has received the second of five emails, and then has the #2 tag applied, will that stop the campaign sequence for them? Will that stop emails 3-5 from being sent?

I hope the answer is yes. Thanks if advance for any help.

Yes
Any attached goal that is achieved to the right of the sequence will pull the person out of any sequences to the left.
