Email opened vs Link Clicked

I would like to set up a campaign that does the following:

  1. Tag applied to begin campaign
  2. Sequence 1 to deliver a series of emails that request feedback via a link in each email
    3a. If any email from sequence 1 is opened but the contact did not click the link inside email they would be sent to a second sequence
    3b. If the contact did click a link the campaign would end for that contact and they would no longer receive emails from sequence 1 or 2

The problem I am having is that the email opened goal is being triggered even if the link clicked goal is achieved. How do I keep those that clicked the link in sequence 1 from getting anymore emails?
