Where to apply a tag in a campain

Hi. I am fairly new to infusionsoft. i have a list but I want to segment it for specific email marketing. I’m creating an email campaign for that audience that will allow them to download a free pdf. How do I tag them so that I know who downloaded the pdf? Thanks!

Hi Sharon, I just want to make sure I am on the right track you are wanting to tag the contacts that click the Download link in the email from the campaign, is that right?

Yes, that is correct.

Where you define the link, you have the option to set a tag that gets applied when that link is clicked:
