Whats your best emails to close a sale?

Hello,
I’m in the boating industry, selling boat canvas and carpets.
I’m looking at re-writing my email quote follow-up sequence.

Here is my most popular and best response email;
Subject Line: Are U OK?
A week ago at your request, I sent you an email with a quote for your boat.
And as I haven’t heard from you, I can only assume one of the following:

  1. You have been extremely busy and I can appreciate that.

  2. You’re now not interested and I’m reduced to the status of an annoying
piece of spam clogging up your email; or…

  3. You desperately want to contact me, but you’re trapped under a fallen
filing cabinet and can’t reach your phone or PC.

If it is #3, please let me know and I’ll send someone round to help you out.
Steve, Where would we be without a little humor in our lives!

Please take a moment and reply to this email and let us know how you would like to proceed.

Look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Rick Ostler

Feel free to tweak this email for your business. Try it gets great results and customers get a kick out of it.

Whats your best emails to close a sale?
Thanks…Rick

Totally #3!!

In our industry, say if the Client went with another Contractor (99% is price) - We always tell them if they have any questions or concerns (even with the new Contractor) to NEVER hesitate to reach out. Keeping an open and kind relationship keeps us in their mind - Especially when they are ready to the next project!

I would LOVE to find a way to incorporate more fun and humour in our email blasts - Our open rate just sucks - I know alot of us are dealing with that - I’m thinking Direct Mail pretty soon…
