We have installed a cookie plugin on our site. At the moment this script fires regardless of whether a user consents to cookies or not. We need to understand what it would break if we include it as something people can not consent to. Could anyone shed any light?

Hey, @Melodie_moore ,
With Keap, they don’t have anything conditional with that tracking link. It is meant to populate lead source in your app on the contact when they register. I don’t think that particular one has to do with cookies though. They’re two separate things (lead tracking and cookies), although keap does use cookies to identify affiliates when they return. So what happens when you use a plugin to give the user the cookie option, it will prevent cookies from being stored. This will then also prevent affiliate tracking when someone uses affiliate marketing.
Thanks for the information @John_Borelli
