Order form filter

Our new CBD product cannot be sold in some states, is there a way to show an error message in the order form if the customer enters the state that is included on our do not sell list. I’m not sure if there is a partner application that I can install?

I would read through this thread. Looks like it may have your answer – just only include the states that you are legal in, and then put “if your state is not listed, then this product cannot be purchased in your state”.

Thanks for your help John. I found this java from someone trying to do a similar thing in IS and it looks correct, but for some reason it’s not working. It is from 2013 but should still work. You can pre-validate based on conditions using Javascript on order forms. Obviously that would require some custom coding.
