I am importing a number of confirmed email contacts from MailChimp via CSV. InfusionSoft assigned an Unconfirmed status to all the contact I have imported.
I am trying to figure out a way to change the status to confirmed without having to ask my clients again to confirm their emails. To me, if a company ask me twice to confirm my email, a month, a year later I would think there is something fishing going on.
The only way I can think of is to run a campaign asking clients if they would like to Stay in Touch and request to confirm or update their contact details via a form on my website. After they update and/or confirm they would like to stay in touch, would I be able to change their status to Confirmed? Do I need to ask again if they accept marketing via email?
