A customer who previously unsubscribed has now contacted us and asked to begin receiving our emails again. However, while she received the email asking her to confirm, it would not accept her confirmation. Any ideas what the problem could be?
While it is unclear why the email confirmation process you mentioned did not work, an alternative method for indicating you have permission to send is to manually opt in a contact using the steps below:
A. Navigate to the contact record and click ‘Manage Email Status…’:
B. Within the pop-up box, choose ‘Indicate that you have permission to market to this address’:
C. Indicate that you have permission to market to this address, give a reason, then click the ‘Save’ button:
This method will leave the contact with an Unconfirmed (Single Opt-in) status.
