Email Status - Unmarketable to Marketable update

Hi. How can I set up an automated email status update from Unengaged Unmarketable to Marketable? When unengaged contact re-engage, the status needs to be re-activated automatically to receive automation emails. But I can’t find the setting.

If someone has an Unengaged Nonmarketable status, the only way you can get them back to marketable is go have them complete a Web Form to get into your system, or manually change their status. You can’t do it via automation or via an API entry into Keap.

Unfortunately, you can’t email them from the system either to get them an email verification email.

The way I’ve worked around this in that past for a client who accidentally had their automatic settings set wrong and marked a ton of folks as Unengaged NonMarketable, was to export them all and send them through a MailChimp campaign asking them to opt back in. That campaign drove them to a Web Form where their email was fed in via a parameter to a hidden field and all they had to do was click ‘confirm’.
