I’m using campaign merge fields to include current dates that change each month. When I change the campaign fields InfusionSoft doesn’t seem to require a “Re-Publish” of the campaign. However it appears to be using the old campaign custom fields until I set an e-mail to draft and then re-publish the whole campaign.
It appears the campaign merge fields are hard-coded into the e-mail when the campaign is first published and only changed when it is republished. Is this the case and could InfusionSoft alter this behaviour so that if campaign fields are changed the corresponding merge fields are updated without republishing. It seems to allow for bugs to creep in otherwise.
