Hi there - looking to be able to alter a sales affiliate if on a payment after an order/payment is made.
Let’s say an order is placed. Payment made. Sales affiliate id attached. How can we patch that payment or commission that was generated? I don’t see an api in v2 for this. Would love to get thoughts. Thanks!
Hi Rick, at the moment, that’s not possible through the API.
Specifically, updating or deleting commissions is legacy functionality that’s currently only available through the UI in the classic app, and there isn’t a corresponding v2 API endpoint for it today.
I’ve brought this use case up internally with the team so we can consider a safe approach for supporting it in future improvements.

No, this is only possible through the Classic UI at the moment. Updating or altering commissions after an order is not currently exposed via the API, including XML-RPC.
