how do I assign contact owner when it reads “unassigned owner”
Click in the owner field and start typing the name of the owner you wish to assign. The drop down list should auto populate with matches you can select.
That won’t work - I know how to do that… these contacts were placed in the system before we made the “owner” selection available and now the tag isn’t functional- where in the admin tools can I assign someone to these contacts ?
So if you have a list of multiple contacts that you wish to assign a specific owner to, then silo that list using the search criteria and the select the actions button and click the ‘mass update’ option. In the field list, select the owner id and then select the owner you wish to assign. Then at the bottom of that list click ‘process action’
