is there a way i can update the custom field that i created under task/note/Appt?

Hi @Kashif_Me and @Pav , just wanted to share an update on this request. Support for updating Custom Fields is now available for both Tasks and Notes in the REST API, including support for updating the custom field values as well. You can find the updated documentation here: REST v2 Documentation
