I’m trying to merge possible duplicate contacts. When I’m viewing my list of 5,000+ contacts, I’m selecting “Merge Duplicate Contacts” but the system is asking me to select exactly 2 contacts. Is there a way for this system to scan my list automatically and identify contacts that may be duplicates and narrow it down for me? Thank you.
Go under ‘admin - data cleanup’
Run through the ‘check for duplicate records’
That will identify those records that the system identifies as duplicates (you get to set some criteria while going through the process)
Then, choose whether to merge manually by ‘viewing duplicate contacts’ or to merge automatically by either overrating old data with new, or only adding new data.
