Is there a good way to tell which user made the most recent update to a Contact record via the API without using XML-RPC?
It looks like XML-RPC returns -1 for the System or an ID for the user. This is great, but isn’t that going away? What is in place to get at that data via REST?
Thanks,
Tim
Hi @Timothy_Smith, that is one of the gaps we’ve identified. I’ll give you an update as soon as Last updated by is available for contacts in v2.
Thank you, @OmarAlmonte.
What is the best way to keep our finger on the pulse of what is going on with the API?
Thanks,
Tim
For any big updates, I will post them in this forum. For known issues in the v2 API, we have our known issues tracker that is updated as we make progress on those items.
Thank you, @OmarAlmonte!
The known issues tracker has Contacts | GET/POST/PATCH | Gap | Missing fields. Is this the line item I should be watching for this, or is there something more specific for tracking this?
Thanks,
Tim
@Timothy_Smith Yes, that’s the item you should be looking at, and I’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we have updates as well.
