Further to my queries on this new API integration. I am getting warning messages that I have API legacy that will be affected yet I have checked with all my connected services Including membervault) and they have confirmed they are compliant with Keaps new API system. Do I ignore them?
Hi @Gay_Landeta,
Membervault have only got this documentation page about the Email integration.
What does your MemberVault Email integration page look like for Keap?
Do not share any keys.
It maybe the case of switching over from the Legacy API Key to an Authorized Connection, or a Service Account Key. But I cannot tell what they are offering due to the lack of documentation.
Thanks
thanks so much - keap has said to membervault they are compatible but i forwarded your message to their team so they could clarify not only their bot which gave out incorrect info but also their integration documentation. since putting up this message the warning message seems to have disappeared so hopefully that is dealt with as all my integrations service depts say they are compatible.
Could you do me a favour please and check something in your Keap Account.
At the top of the page click on the βUserβ icon and select the βAPI Settingsβ menu option. When that page opens, check if MemberVault appears in the βThird-Party Authorized Applicationsβ list.
If it does appear in there, then you are all okay. If you had to provide a Service Account Key, then that is okay as well.
that sounds really simple and fabulous but I cannot find that. I am in keap Max. There is no user icon on the top that I can see. ,There is my own photo which is perhaps what you mean at the bottom right of the dashboard - however there is no users in there. In settings I can find βusersβ but it is only admin permissions and clicks through to my profile.
Can you screen shot me where you mean.
Keap Pro/Max and Max Classic (Ultimate) interfaces are different.
Here is a guide to it: https://help.keap.com/help/api-key
You need to click on your Photo Icon, then select βSettingsβ then βAPIβ, picture attached below.
At the top of the page you will see βThird-Party Authorized Applicationsβ, which should have MemberVault listed. Unless a Service Account Key was provided instead.
thanks so much - I found that spot and see all the API keys have bene authorised in the last week so I gather all is well. The awful doomsday message has stopped too. Phew.
thanks so much for your help - much appreciated.
