How to get UTM Codes from Facebook Ads into Keap Max?
Dylan:
What is your landing page? A Keap page or a regular web page with some sort of form?
My preferred method is a landing page that is native to the website, using Gravity Forms. On there, you can have hidden fields for your UTM codes and then feed them into matching custom fields in Keap.
I don’t use the native Keap landing pages, but my understanding is that if you do feed UTM parameters to them, they will auto-capture on your contact record.

Hey Dylan
Generally speaking, the best way to get UTM params into Keap Max is to capture them with the form submission and then send them into Keap in the same way you send the name, email, etc.
Most form builders have a basic way to capture the UTM parameters when the form is submitted, but it only works if the form is submitted on the same page the user initially lands on. If they browse around your site before submitting the form, the UTMs will be gone from the URL so they won’t be captured.
There are paid tools that solve this problem, like Attributer, source loop, etc. They will store the UTMs in the visitor’s browser so that they are passed even if they browse around a few pages first (or if they leave and come back). These tools can also pass through click ID’s (Google Click ID) and heaps of other useful data.
Here’s a link to Attributer’s listing on the Keap Marketplace if you’re interested in that.
