Action Items, anyone?

My company is considering switching to Keap from infusionsoft, but I’m not sure we can do it without action items. The ability to create a next action note that remains visible on the deal at a glance and then have an appended “this is how that action item went” note to the prev. action item in the deal history before creating a new action item is a seriously helpful tool. Anyone else want this? And have you found a way around this?

So far it looks like tasks can be associated to people. But tasks at my company are mostly associated to deals. Anyone made this work for deals?
