We are coming from Mailchimp, which used Feedburner—a free service.
I know about Marketing Mavens, but I was hoping to find a service that would do it for free (or less than about $40/month).
We post on our website five times/week, and want that content sent to our daily subcribers.

I haven’t personally played around with this one, but I have heard some folks talk about https://www.feedbolt.com/
You might take a look. Looks like they have some options to send out your content automatically.
There may be some other options, but this is one that came to mind for me.
