# Transfer contracts from a contact to a company

I’d like to delete contacts who are no longer with the company, but I don’t want to lose the history of the account, particularly the contract that’s associated with that person. How can I easily move contracts from a contact to the company.

You cannot move contacts “under” a company record and deleting a contact will most definitely cause the permanent loss of it’s associated information.
