# New contact email status is non-marketable

Hello,

I have floated several forms created in word press across social media to capture email addresses of the leads. Everytime a form is submitted, the same is transferred to Infusion Soft using Rest API via hourly cron job. However the default status of all such contacts in “Non- marketable” which means I have to manually change the status before I can start sending them emails. Can someone help on how could this be changed so that the email status by default is “Marketable”.
