# Hello Everybody

**Hi my name is Nikki, and have used infusionsoft for a couple of years and this is the first time to the community. so hello everyone.**

**I sell franchise’s for my company, and I am in the property industry.**

**I need to send an email out to certain person types, to opt in to our campaigns due to the new gdpr coming into force on 25th May. Does anyone know how to do this?**

Under CRM \>\> Contacts you can filter by “Person Type”, then, once you have the right group selected you can click on the Actions dropdown menu, and select “Send a Broadcast”. This will allow you to build a broadcast message to that particular segment where you can ask them to do whatever it is you need them to do.
