# Date format for custom date fields sent in emails

Hi all

I have an email in a keap campaign contains the following: "You’re probably feeling excited about attending this workshop starting on ~Contact.\_WorkshopDate~ "

the WorkshopDate is a custom field which is set to whatever date the workshop is running, I want custom field, for ALL people everywhere to receive that email to display like this: “You’re probably feeling excited about attending this workshop starting on 22 February, 2023” (or whatever the date actually is) - note that it is the format of the date that I want to be shown in a particular way - the same way for everyone. Is this possible?

Please note, I’ve tried

[[Contact.\_WorkshopDate | full]]  
~Contact.\_WorkshopDate | full~  
{{ Contact.\_WorkshopDate | full }}

but nothing seems to work

Anything other than the ~ format also seems not to work

Mark:

There isn’t a way to forma the dates like the natively in Keap, but the [Humanize Keap Dates](https://www.plusthis.com/tools/30-humanize-keap-dates?ac=hk517r) by PlusThis is a great solution. You can also do the same with something from Fix Your Funnel (I think), or using [Make](https://4spotmarketing.com/make) (kind of like Zapier).

But for simplicity, the PlusThis solution is the easiest.
